snow
In the winter of 1944/45 Orleans saw the worst snow  of the century.
It was necessary to the war effort to get the rail road open.
The whole town oitched in including me (Burr), with shovels.

It took 3 weeks. Left to right - Joyce Hollenbeck, Lil Birch? Irene Fabrizi.
